This seventh grade year was full of many happy and unhappy experiences. The experience I am going to tell you about the time when Mrs. Nolley gave me GUM DETENTION!
I was in 1st period ( Mrs.Nolley's class S.S.).
I was chewing gum discretly.
Mrs. Nolley tells me to spit it out.
She suprisingly wrote my name on the board.
Then she said, "Ambrielle you have GUM DETENTION".
I said, " But Mrs. Nolley this is only the first time you've caught me"!
I said ,"That is not fair Mrs.Nolley"
I tried to negotitate for silent lunch.
I begged and pleaded for 2 days!
Mrs. Nolley just wouldn't agree with my compromise!
Then Mikayla and I stayed after school for gum detention (She was a good friend for doing that with me! :) .
We had to scrap gum from underneath the desks withSrew Drivers???
I learned that in life consequences come when you don't follow the rules! I learned my lesson right , but I still think that Mrs. Nolley should have just given me silent lunch instead of detention! :)
